Fulton Mall Historic American Landscape Report Survey (HALS)
DESCRIPTION
RHAA prepared documentation of Garrett Eckbo’s 1964 Fulton Mall for the Historic American Landscape Survey (HALS). Fulton Mall was one of the first downtown pedestrian malls in the country and is an exceptional example of modernist landscape design. The documentation provides a record of the historic landscape and includes a detailed history and inventory report, a complete set of drawings documenting the design, and large format archival photography. All components of the HALS documentation comply with the National Park Service guidelines and will be archived in the Library of Congress.
