Novato Civic Center City Administration Office Building
DESCRIPTION
RHAA teamed with RMW architects to design a new city administration building that is seamlessly integrated with the adjacent public park and facilities, existing public amenities, and the surrounding downtown Novato neighborhood. The design creates a flexible plaza that functions as both a parking lot and functional plaza capable of supporting events of various sizes. The plant palette and irrigation system was designed to minimize water use. A pervious paving system and a series of flow through planting areas improve water quality and reduce stormwater runoff from the plaza and building roof.
