Newark City Wide Master Plan
DESCRIPTION

The Newark Citywide Parks Master Plan is  a comprehensive document designed to shape the future of Newark’s park system. The Plan identifies and prioritizes potential park projects based on an inventory of the City’s existing park system, collaboration with City staff, community participation and an analysis of the City’s demographic and recreational trends. The Master Plan also addresses costs for major capital improvements, operating costs, and identifies possible phasing based on priorities to serve short, medium and long range needs of the community. The Newark Citywide Parks Master Plan provides recommendations and actions for the City’s parks as well as guidance on the Plan’s management and implementation.
