RHAA was selected to prepare a comprehensive set of design guidelines, which will serve to set clear standards for all future design projects including: master tree planting scheme, paving, lighting, site furnishings, as well as best management practices for sustainability. The document also specifies technical guidelines and details associated with: irrigation, grading and drainage. Consequently, RHAA was then hired as landscape architect for five redevelopment projects on campus, each involving the completion of drawing sets for Schematic Design through Construction Documents; one of these projects being the new 73,000 square-foot Student & Administrative Services Building which will be the new gateway to the campus. The new building will house all student and administrative services functions in one location. The new building and surrounding site improvements will serve as the central gateway to the campus. The design team is going for a LEED Gold accreditation.
