DESCRIPTION
The Santa Clara Valley Patient Bed Building I and Rehabilitation Center is San Jose’s county hospital. The building has undergone extensive renovation in recent years, providing a state-of-the-art healthcare campus for the public.  RHAA worked with Stantec/Anshen & Allen Architects on Bed Buildings I & II, to effectively utilize green space to promote mental and physical health for patients, visitors and staff.  This concept of mind/body/spirit can be seen in private courtyards, planted green roofs, and a formal planted entry.
