Stafford Lake Master Plan
DESCRIPTION
On behalf of Marin County Parks, RHAA is preparing a master plan for Stafford Lake Park, a 139-acre regional park three miles west of Novato. Considered one of the county’s flagship facilities, the park features picnic and event space, fishing, open lawn, disc golf, and other recreational facilities. RHAA was tasked with taking a fresh look at the park’s visioning, expanding upon the park’s inherent qualities while adding programmatic, recreational, and environmental value for the park’s growing and evolving demographics. Working with the County, RHAA conducted extensive community outreach to develop a comprehensive master plan that improves connectivity, expands programmatic opportunities, and explores innovative elements to enhance park users’ experience.
