Our projects range from small-scale design projects to large new community plans and institutional campuses. We work with both public and private clients, and we thrive on working with communities, both large and small. While the majority of our work is in California, the firm practice includes work throughout the United States, South America and the Pacific Rim.

Our diverse portfolio demonstrates our strengths in research, contextual and thoughtful design, collaboration with clients, in leadership of community outreach, in production of compelling and legible graphics, and in development of innovative design solutions. We approach each project through the lens of placemaking. We believe that each project has a unique context, history and program and the potential to connect and enhance the community around it. We work to create active urban and public spaces which bring vitality and a sense of life to the cities and communities in which they are located.

We are a medium sized office, small enough that our principals are involved in our projects in a hands-on way but large enough to have the staff capability to fast track a project of any size. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness to our clients’ needs, timelines and budgets.

We are recognized by the State of California and the Federal Government as a SBE, WBE, and DBE.
