Larkspur Library and Community Space

The City of Larkspur and the Commons Foundation constructed a new $5 million library on Rose Lane in Larkspur. The building represents the first phase of a multi-phased effort to create a larger library and community center. The project includes a new 5,000 SF library building and associated outdoor community spaces. A central lawn area serves as the town “green,” supporting community functions and events. An adjacent terrace and lawn provide outdoor library space, while a second terrace outside the multi-purpose room further enhances the library’s use for events. The future Phase 2 area is planned as a habitat garden, with natural stone seating areas and native plantings.
