Oyster Point Phase IIC Site Improvement

Through our On-Call Master Agreement with the City of South San Francisco,

RHAA was enlisted to design improvements for the City’s shoreline open

space at Oyster Point. Improvements were prioritized to maximize the City’s

limited construction budget and maintenance resources. Project constraints

and conditions included sea level rise and working over sanitary landfill cap

with continued ground settlement. RHAA coordinated with BCDC and the

San Mateo County Harbor District to ensure improvements met their needs

and requirements. Project improvements include widened Bay Trail, shoreline

planting, parking area improvements, picnic area improvements and custom

wind shelter, a new dog park, and fitness equipment.
