Union Sanitary District Enhanced Treatment and Site Upgrade Campus Building Phase 1A

RHAA is working with the Union Sanitary District on a major facility expansion project. The goal is to increase the plant’s water processing capacity to accommodate projected population growth and improve effluent quality, enabling the facility to transition away from using the marshes for tertiary treatment and instead discharge directly into the creek. The new campus design incorporates specialized programming for an administration building, control laboratory, and maintenance building, while also creating a strong sense of arrival and addressing circulation, security, and stormwater management considerations.
